As you move from job to job hopefully the job fit will get closer to your ideal job, however trade offs will be necessary as the job will never be a perfect fit.
You may enjoy your work but wish the money was better. You may enjoy your work which pays well but the job requires a lot of travel away from home.

The industry has peaked and there is little opportunity of career advancement.
Ownership
You believe the job is right for you and management give you ownership of the role.
You have taken the job for any number of reasons but not because you think the job is right for you.
Work Content
You enjoy the work content and it feels like fun and meaningful to you.
The job feels like a job and you are constantly watching the clock.
